Isioma is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with The College of Alberta Psychologists. She holds a Master of Arts in counselling psychology from Yorkville University and a master’s degree in educational psychology & school counselling from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
She has experience working with clients using solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, play therapy, EMDR, and psychoeducation.
She works with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and statuses among whom are individuals, families, children, youth, couples, single parents, and individuals within the LGBTQ+ community.
She believes that every client that walks into the therapy room is “hopeful” and has the inherent potential to achieve the positive change needed in their therapeutic journey. She is hoping that her professional support helps unravel the resilience and strength in each client needed in the healing process.
