Natasha is a Masters of Counselling Psychology student who is completing her practicum, and providing low-cost counselling, at Alliance Counselling and Assessment. Her passion for providing mental health services comes from her diverse experience of working as a Care Aid, a Family Support Worker in schools and a Transitional Outreach Worker helping youth move out of harm’s way, into employment and onto a pathway of greater stability. Natasha is dedicated to supporting people to achieve their dreams and strongly believes that with the right support, regardless of your past, anything is possible. Her philosophy is that everyone has mental health and that it is okay to need support to navigate life. Furthermore, that everyone deserves someone in their corner. Her goal is to help all individuals overcome barriers, gain self-confidence and the tools that they need to reach their goals. Natasha believes that therapy is a team effort and collaboratively will work with you to recognize your strengths, gain new skills, and implement positive change in your life. Natasha’s past experiences in the field and extensive work with young adults allows her to provide competent services in supporting individuals with healthy relationships, self-esteem and confidence, positive self-talk, body image, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression & low motivation, and goal setting. People know Natasha as being bright and bubbly. She is always smiling and aims to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease during their sessions. When not at work, you can find Natasha running, hiking, cooking, travelling, trying out new restaurants with her fiancé, or spending time with my family and friends. |
