What to Expect
Alliance Counselling and Assessment provides online and over-the-phone appointments.
At the time of booking, you may request for an online or over-the-phone session with one of our counsellors.
During an online session, counsellors will work with you through presenting issues, much like during in-person sessions.
Approximately 15 minutes before the start of your scheduled appointment, you will receive a link to join the session via an online platform (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.). Please indicate to your counsellor which program you feel most comfortable using.
If you run into any issues with the system, such as problems entering the session, you can inform your counsellor by giving them a call or sending an email, at that time, they will work to fix the issue or find an alternative means of conducting the appointment.
For clients that opt to attend their appointments via phone, the therapist will call at the time of the scheduled appointment.
